HOPE has worked tirelessly over the past 5 years to uplift, empower, and increase the well-being of the community and its members. Moving forward into 2027, we will continue our mission of creating pathways toward sustainability and self-advocacy for our community through the following initiatives.

Women Empowerment

Establish the Spaces of Hope for women and children to have a safe, welcoming space to call home.

Youth Leadership & Development

Change the Channel and RISE are programs and services we will expand and advocate for the underserved Youth in New Hanover County and the region. The Youth will lead the Portia Hines Park project using their talents and learned skills by ensuring the community voice is heard and a beautiful, safe, and welcoming space for families is completed.

Health, Wellness, & Healing

Expand B.M.A.H.S. principles through arts and music in BIPOC communities throughout the region to address identified health issues.
